From what I can tell, and support confirmed, one of the three Oracle backend servers failed (in some fashion) this morning. Performance was degraded for some time while the other 2 servers picked up the load. At some point around 11:18 AM EST this morning the feces hit the ventalation. Called to support were getting fast busy, and when I could get the automated greeting I was getting a system error trying to speak with a suport rep.
After finally getting through they are advising us to check the system status message on the supprot line (option 2) -- the same message that says they are experiencing "system performance problems" -- the kind of performance you'd expect from an unplugged server, mind you, but I digress. Suffice it to say support is in the dark at this point with the total outage.
As I'm writing this I'm starting to see signs of life... Needless to say I'll be looking for the RFO for this one for sure.

Yes, it was totally down the whole morning but now I was able to log on but it threw me back out.
Very, very annoying.

The joys of a hosted crm...great product but reliability is outside of our control, still a VAST improvement over ACT :-)

Still bad and no service available at EMEA-Link. Should be a major problem inside. No information from SF about it. They have to work hard on this.
